Connect Business Professionals and IT
The best way to enable business and IT professionals to manage and change processes collaboratively, especially in a volatile business environment, is to use a comprehensive design tool that visualizes the process. Also, business professionals can collaborate with IT professionals more easily and consistently throughout the process improvement life cycle by using models to provide a shared language and, thus, improved understanding.
The Syncron Business Process Workbench (BPW) is used as a definition tool to capture, design and modify the business process, including definition of roles and actors. The process definition includes not only the ideal process but marks applicable rules to deal with process inconsistencies, integrity and constraints, monitoring of inactivity and automated initiation of new events and alerts.
Design workflows and services in one tool
The Business Process Workbench allows use of industry templates to facilitate faster implementation of a new process. The process modeling is made on two levels; workflow and microflow. The workflow is the long running, interruptible process level, and the microflow is the short running, non-interruptible level, aka service. The Business Process Workbench is used to capture design and modify the automated microflow of business rules and constraints to be applied to each event in a process. In the microflow, data can be accessed from the Syncron database with all common business services as well as other disparate sources, and the result, from potentially multiple sources, merged into one consistent reply. Dynamic decisions and constraint checks can be based on accessed business data instead of hard coded rules. The message routing rules and logic is core in the microflow definition.
Deploy and have the process executed
Message map, transport mechanism and API are applied to each interaction between different applications. The business process definition designed in Business Process Workbench is executed by the Business Process Engine making all Syncron applications model-driven.
All Syncron applications have a process-centric approach that delivers unmatched speed-to-value for business process integration.
