Syncron releases a new generation of its advanced Supply Chain software bringing 24 hour supply chain management to clients such as Scania, Volvo, Tetra Pak, JCB and Komatsu.

Syncron, the leading provider of software solutions for the global supply chain, today announced the launch of version 8 of its Supply Chain Management suite.

A key part of the infrastructure is Syncron’s own Business Process Platform; an advanced technology that enables clients to easily operate global processes despite having a fragmented IT-infrastructure. Syncron Business Process Platform is the foundation of all Syncron supply chain planning and execution solutions, providing rationalization of data processing as well as coordination of business workflows. In Syncron v8, it is possible to modularize and optimize each individual workflow. This enhanced feature adds a new level of flexibility and speed when adjusting business processes to meet future demands. The technology also provides Syncron clients with 100% system availability 24 hours per day by advanced cluster functionality. This, in combination with support for unlimited scalability, Syncron clients can improve the supply chain performance significantly.

Syncron v8 also includes a new web foundation allowing customers to experience enhanced levels of security when exchanging data, allowing companies to share sensitive data confidently with third parties in their extended supply chain. The web foundation is based on the latest web framework technology and delivers a richer, more advanced and easy to use user interface.
