The event, held at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo was opened with warm greetings by Stefan Noreén, the Swedish Ambassador to Japan.
As well as an introduction to Syncron’s unique global supply chain management offerings, the seminar included case studies by Komatsu and Volvo. During the event Anders Grudén, CEO of Syncron International AB also took the opportunity to formally introduce the company’s new President in Japan, Kenichi Tsumura, who joined the company on 1 April, 2009.

Building on years of success in the European and North American markets, Syncron established the Tokyo office in 2008 based on a significant contract awarded to the company by Komatsu, the second largest heavy equipment manufacturer globally. Hirohiko Saito, Group Manager, Parts Department, Product Support Division, joined the seminar as a guest speaker to explain why they have selected Syncron as their partner for their Global Order Management initiative.
