Syncron Wins Global Order Management Software Deal in Japan

With sales in excess of $22bn Mining and Construction Equipment leader Komatsu has chosen Syncron software to support its global order management process.

Komatsu Ltd. has selected Syncron Global Order Management to help unify their ordering process across geographical and technological boundaries. The Syncron solution will provide Komatsu with a single order interface to their customers, dealers and suppliers across their ERP infrastructure helping them to act as one company globally.

“We believe that providing our customers in the world with a transparent order interface is essential for increasing customer satisfaction, and we'd looked for "an umbrella" running on our ERP systems,” says Hirohiko Saito, Group Manager Product Support Div. of Komatsu Ltd. “We selected Syncron Global Order Management as the solution could support our complex business process without compromise and has a proven track record of fast implementation.”

Komatsu completed an extensive evaluation of competing software solutions, including global ERP leaders, before selecting Syncron Global Order Management. The Syncron solution will utilize industry standard SOA and BPM to integrate with Komatsu’s SAP and Baan installations to deliver the single order management process layer.

“Global leaders such as Komatsu face multiple supply chain challenges related to the size and complexity of their business,” says Anders Grudén, CEO Syncron. “We are very proud to add Komatsu to the list of companies around the world successfully leveraging Syncron solutions to streamline their global operations, with minimal effort.”
